Atenea Rekord Suites

Hotel is located in nice residential area - we were there during Easter holidays so Barcelona was less crowded than usual - streets were unusually quiet so I cannot tell if you can hear the traffic in usual circumstances. Room is large, clean and well maintained. Hotel offers breakfast, but we did not use it. There is a grocery shop just around the corner, bakery across the street and a garage in the next street (pricy though but if you cannot find a place on the street it is an solution). Metro station is some 2 minutes walk from the hotel. You can reach some touristic spots (Casa Mila) on foot but it is some 20 min stroll.

This hotel was the definition of comfort and cleanliness. The staff welcomed us with a smile on their face, and clear instructions as to where our room is etc. The room was equipped with way more "tools" than was anticipated, our favourite was the organic toothpaste! The bathroom itself as well, was spotless and spacious, with two mirrors and a large shower, with shower gel and shampoo available. The bed was extreeemely comfortable and it was very difficult to get up in the morning because one could sleep in it all day! We did not have breakfast at this hotel however the room included a coffee machine, condensed milk and some delicious herbal tea - this also contributed to a great morning in Barcelona. The location of the hotel was pretty good itself too, about 3 stops from the central Placa de Catalunya - the name of the metro stop was Muntaner (with the Sabadell Parc del Nord Line). Overal this hotel deserves a solid 11/10!

Spacious room for a 5 night stay. All amenities provided in the room like toiletries, bathrobe, slippers, tea, coffee. 24x7 front desk helped arrange a taxi to the airport in the middle of the night. Big spread of breakfast included all assorted fruits, breads, pastries, 1 egg dish and 1 meat dish. Best part it is located right opposite to a metro station which was very convenient to travel to the city centre in just 3 stops.

firstly the room was huge! air con and heating if needed, nespresso coffee maker, fridge, huge shower and bed was massive and cosy second the location was perfect, a few steps away from the tube that takes you to the center

Safe area. Clean and comfy Suites with kind and helpful staff. Metro station 100 meter away which can take you to the city center within 8 minutes (4 Stops). Having Market and Bakery around the corner was very convenient too.
